Welcome to Everything Family! 

I created this site for every family - whatever that looks like for you.  I am a single mom, survivor, protective parent, and dog mom!  I'm breaking cycles, learning and growing as I go through my parenting journey and I want to share the best things I've learned along the way.  And sometimes we discover the best practice or product by trying out the worst first.  I'm here to help keep you from having to kiss a lot of frogs before finding your prince!

Since this is meant for every family - some of my content may not apply to you.  I hope you will still read and learn about something that you may not experience or may not know about.  I do post a lot about domestic violence and surviving post separation, especially with children involved.  If you are fortunate enough to not have experience with this, I encourage you to further educate yourself here.  Considering 1 in 4 women will experience intimate partner violence, if you have not experienced it yourself, it is pretty impossible to not know someone who has experienced this.  By learning more, you can help support those who are experiencing or already have experienced this sort of trauma, and also you become a partner in prevention.
